1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Credible mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Credible is a fact-checking application that uses artificial intelligence to analyze statements and provide verification results. The App offers both free and paid subscription tiers.
3. Subscription Terms
- Pro Subscription: Provides 100 additional fact-check credits per month
- Automatic Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Price: Subscription pricing is displayed in the App and may vary by region
- Managing Subscriptions: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Account Settings on the App Store after purchase
4. Free Tier
Free users receive 10 fact-check credits per month. Credits reset on the first day of each calendar month.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods
- Refund requests must be submitted through Apple's App Store support
6. User Conduct
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the App in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access restrictions
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
- Use the App to transmit malicious code or interfere with its operation
- Share your account credentials with others
7. Accuracy of Information
While we strive to provide accurate fact-checking results, Credible is an AI-powered tool and should not be considered infallible. Results are provided for informational purposes only and should not be solely relied upon for critical decisions. We recommend verifying important information through multiple sources.
8. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity. You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings.
9. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at https://credible-cb67b.web.app/privacy.html.
10. Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Credible and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CREDIBLE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:
- Your use or inability to use the App
- Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
- Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the App
- Any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through the App
- Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the App
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
14. Apple Terms
This App is subject to the standard Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/us/terms.html.

16. Severability

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Credible regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
